Computer Software for BSA Scouting Units and Districts

Please note that the below only applies to our BSA software and NOT our Girl Scout software

After 16 years, we've decided to withdraw Scoutmate from the market...

(August 24, 2007) Released in 1991 as an outgrowth of my Eagle project, Scoutmate has helped thousands of BSA units keep track of their unit records. We've thoroughly enjoyed creating, updating and supporting a tool that has helped so many people.

However, due to personal and business reasons, we've decided to discontinue selling Scoutmate to new users and end formal support for existing users in six months. Please note that you can continue using Scoutmate for as long as you like, however we will no longer be updating the software.

If you're currently a Scoutmate user, we do have some good news. Troopmaster Software has graciously offered a discount if you're interested in converting over to one of their software packages. Your order of either TroopMaster or PackMaster will also include instructions on getting your files converted from Scoutmate to the new file formats in the new system.

On August 24th, we emailed registered Scoutmate users with more information including instructions for purchasing the Packmaster/Troopmaster software at the discounted price. If you have not received an email, please email us at

It's been our pleasure serving you.

Yours in Scouting,

The KSC Group, LLC
